A good business plan explains what you sell, who buys it, why they choose you, and how the business makes money. Start with the problem, then describe the customer, the offer, the market, and the basic financial model.
You do not need a huge document to be serious. You need enough clarity to test whether the idea can survive contact with customers and cash flow.
If the plan is going to help you act, keep it simple enough to revisit. A business plan should steer decisions, not just sit there looking official.
