Intuition is the brain making a quick judgment from pattern recognition plus body signals. Researchers call the body-signal part interoception: the nervous system tracks internal cues like hunger, heart rate, breathing, and discomfort, and those signals get folded into a decision before you can fully explain it.
That is why gut feelings often feel physical instead of purely mental. They are usually fastest when you have experience to compare against, but they are not magic and they are not always right. In a new or stressful situation, the brain can still jump to a conclusion before it has enough evidence, which is why intuition works best as a clue to check, not a verdict to obey.

Are alien abduction experiences real or explainable by psychology and sleep?
Most alien abduction stories fit sleep paralysis, vivid dreaming, suggestion, and memory effects better than literal extraterrestrial contact.
🔬 Science 5 weeks ago 3 min readCould a large undiscovered primate like Bigfoot still exist in North America?
It’s extraordinarily unlikely. A breeding population would leave bones, DNA, roadkill, or fossils, and North America has no credible evidence of that.
