How do I clear browser cache?
Short answerOpen your browser's privacy settings and delete cached files or browsing data.

The exact buttons vary by browser, but the idea is the same: open the browser’s privacy or history settings, choose the option to clear browsing data, and select cached files. In Chrome, Google points people to “Delete browsing data”; in Edge, Microsoft uses “Clear browsing data”; and Firefox has a separate cache-clearing screen.

If you only want to fix one broken site, clearing cache is often the first thing to try because it forces the browser to load fresh files instead of stale ones. That can fix layout glitches, old logins, or pages that refuse to update.

If the problem is cookies, use the same menu but clear cookies and site data instead of only cache. Cache and cookies are related, but they solve different problems.
